This Axon GenePix 4000B Microarray Scanner is a complete working system that has been inspected and tested to confirm it is fully functional. Our technician ran a slide scan with the software and analyzed the resulting image. The slide had been well handled yielding appropriate results.
This complete system comes with a PC equipped with an SCSI card and cable to connect to the scanner as well as the security dongle (HASP) which provides full access to the GenePix Pro 6.1.0.4 software. Most pre-owned GenePix 4000B instruments are sold as incomplete systems due to the extra cost and effort associated with acquiring items like the security dongle and compatible PC hardware, however, we put together all the necessary components to build a turn-key system so the user can be up and running with just a single purchase.
