Details: The IL-50 moisture balance is an ideal tool for determination of both total solids and total liquid content. The units are loaded with a unique proprietary Intell-Lab program, which reflects our years of experience in this field. With a capacity of 50 g, there are two resolutions (accuracies) of either 0.01 g or 0.001 g. They both have a 90 mm diameter pan support to hold the 90 mm aluminum disposable pans used for samples. The Halogen lamp drying method gives quick and even drying of samples. We supply sample quantities of both aluminum sample pans and glass fiber pads (used for liquid samples or samples that might crust or burn). The easy to use keyboard makes programming simple, with temperature settings (50 -180°C) and time settings (1-99 min) easily accessible. Also provided are a calibration weight to enable regular calibration of the balance, pan lifter and tweezers for hot samples. There are three support points, two of which are adjustable to provide leveling. The floor of the weighing chamber is lined with stainless steel. We have experts in moisture determination who can help you with your application and we can test samples to advise on the best method of test. The 0.01 g balance will generally give results of 0.1% moisture content while the 0.001 g will give results of 0.01%. Results can be sent to a printer via a Serial RS232 port. Available in 120 VAC supply, these units also come with a purpose built transport case to enable you to safely carry the unit from place to place, or store safely until needed.
