Details: The Barnstead BK165X2AQ solid aluminum heat block is designed for use with Thermolyne dry baths (sold separately). The solid block can be machined to any custom configuration. A thermometer well allows users to monitor the temperature at the center of the block (thermometer sold separately). Aluminum construction resists corrosion and optimizes heat transfer. The block is 2 x 3 x 4 inches (H x W x D, where H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back).
