From the Millipore series of water purification systems comes the Milli-q Biocel. This filtration system delivers pyrogen and RNase free ultrapure water for your applications. Applications such as affinity chromatography, ELISA tests, electrophoresis gel make-up and serum-based cell and tissue culture media perpetration, and protein and nucleic acid isolation. Pre-treated water (either through EDI, Reverse Osmosis, Distillation or Deionization, enters the system is pumped through the Q-Guard cartridge for an initial step. The Quantum cartridge filters out the trace ions and oxidation by-products. The Purified water then passes through an ultra filtration module, then lastly through a filter membrane that removes any particles or bacteria greater than 0.22µm in size. The Millipore Milli-q Biocel has a flowrate of up to 1.5 liters per minute.
