Details: CHROMWARE three valve reservoir systems are recommended for applications where on-off control of all three ports on the cap is necessary. For example, HPLC mobile phases for several labs can be filtered and degassed at a central location, sealed with a three valve cap with the internal inlet filters and tubing connections already in place, and delivered to the HPLC stations ready-for-use. Furthermore, after an HPLC run is completed, all three valves on each reservoir can be closed to maintain the mobile phase in a sealed environment until the next run. Tetrahydrofuran (THF), which is widely used as a mobile phase for GPC, attacks the Viton O-rings of the standard CHROMWARE systems. The integrated and three valve cap systems have been made into THF-resistant systems by replacing all Viton O-rings with Kalrez O-rings, and replacing the standard stainless steel inlet filters with CTFE components, with conventional all-stainless-steel filters.
