Details: United Products & Instruments PowerSpin Centrifuges have a compact, space-saving footprint and many features typically found only in more expensive units. A brushless motor runs at a quiet 58 dB, even at the maximum 3400 rpm. The 30-minute rotary timer has a bell to signal the run's end. Suction cup feet keep the unit stable on the benchtop. Each centrifuge includes a durable, polymer 6-place angle rotor that will accommodate most tubes up to 16 x 110 mm in size. A safety interlock prevents units from operating when the lid is open. The rotor is removable to access the stainless centrifuge chamber. A lid window can be used for manually checking RPM via a tachometer (not included).
