Details: Hybridization ovens operate over a broad temperature range from 7??C above ambient to 8??5C with ??0.1??C resolution. Actual temperature and set point are digitally displayed while the temperature deviation indicator allows monitoring of the temperature range so procedures are not compromised. Carousel is offset to allow uniform coating of membrane with hybridization solution for sharp bands. Jog setting allows the carousel to advance for easy loading and unloading of hybridization tubes. Forced air circulation maintains temperature uniformity of ??0.5??C at 55??C in chamber or ??0.25??C sample to sample. Unit will heat from ambient to 65??C in less than 20 minutes. Recovery time at 37??C with the door open for 30 seconds is less than 2 minutes. All models are supplied with a carousel that accommodates tubes from 35 mm ID x 100 mm to 300 mm long. Gentle-Clip tube grips hold securely, yet are easy to open for loading and unloading. Applications include Northern (RNA) blots, Southern (DNA) blots and Western (Protein) blots.
