Details: Rugged, compact Hotplates with an ergonomic design are ideal for educational labs and can heat up to 1000 ml of water. Durable 5x5" cast aluminum top plate will not chip or crack, and provides a uniform heating surface. Bi-Metallic thermostat offers reliable temperature control. Powerful heater reaches maximum temperature in minutes. The fixed temperature hotplate features an illuminated rocker switch to activate the preset fixed temperature of 375c. The built-in support rod holder with locking knob accepts an optional support rod and clamp Kit. Kit includes 45.7 cm (18") support rod, thermometer extension clamp, three-prong medium swivel clamp, and hook connector. Optional support plate allows hotplate to be mounted to lab frames or ring stands.
