Details:

The Thermo Scientific Orion 9609BNWP fluoride, refillable ISE has a solid-state epoxy body, a free-flow junction, and a waterproof BNC connector, for measuring free fluoride ions in aqueous solutions using the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) method D 1179. The Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connector has a 1 m cable, and can be used with any ion sensing electrode (ISE) meter with a BNC connector, or other meters with an adapter cable. The free-flow (Sure-Flow) junction allows this ISE to test dirty and viscous samples. The junction can be cleaned by pressing the cap down between measurements, which sends the filling solution through the junction to clear contaminants. The 9609BNWP is commonly used for testing fluoride levels in drinking water.

pH range is 5 to 7 at 10x10-6M (0.02 ppm F-) temperature range is 0 to 80 degrees C (32 to 176 degrees F) and body dimensions are 110 mm/4.33€ (length) x 13 mm/0.51€ (diameter), with a 1 m (39€) cable. Concentration range is 10x10-6M (0.02 ppm F-) internal resistance is 150 to 200 kilohms, and reproducibility is + or - 2%.This electrode uses Orion 900061 fill solution. Buffer and storage solutions are sold separately.

Ion selective electrodes respond selectively to ions in the presence of other ions, and are commonly used for water-testing, and to analyze biological samples in hydroponics, aquaculture and agriculture. Ammonia electrode measure ammonia ions in aqueous solutions.
