The Thermo Scientific 4637-1CEQ Thermal Rocker Incubator platform shaker has a speed range of 1 to 100 rpm, a platform with a nonslip rubber mat that holds vessels and heat-sealed bags with a total weight of 10lb., an analog knob for speed control and pushbutton controls for temperature, an LED readout for set and actual temperatures, and a platform tilt angle that is manually adjustable from 10 to 15 degrees for gentle to moderately vigorous two-dimensional agitation. It has an incubation temperature range of ambient + or - 5 to 70 degrees C, and temperature can be set with an accuracy of + or ?Ç?ô 0.5 degree C. The shaker can operate in three different modes: rocking with incubation, rocking only, and incubation only. This incubating shaker is used in a variety of laboratory procedures, including cell culture, hybridization, and blotting.
This laboratory shaker has an automatically resetting thermal cutoff that will shut off power to the heaters if the temperature exceeds the allowable maximum value.
