The Scilogex 85020101 Model D500 Homogenizer Package with DS-500/1 generator probe and stand, has an adjustable speed dial, and is suitable for emulsifying, shredding, or chopping solid and liquid samples. This handheld homogenizer has a six-position speed dial from 10,000 to 29,000rpm for controlled operation, and can process solid or liquid sample volumes from 10 to 5,000mL. The rotor and stator configuration processes material by drawing a sample into the core of the homogenizer and repeatedly cycling it through narrow slits in the probe for complete homogenization. The 500W drive motor has a smooth acceleration to reduce spillage and overload protection to increase the life of the motor. Shafts are interchangeable and both the shafts and the generator probes are autoclavable and constructed of 316L stainless steel for resistance to corrosion. This handheld homogenizer with generator probe and stand is suitable for use in emulsifying course samples in the ceramic, pharmaceutical, petrochemistry, and sewage control industries.
