Details: With a light gray exterior and a hard, scratch-resistant hammer finish, these cabinets are as attractive as they are durable. High-impact thermoplastic handles are attached to the doors. Heavy steel double-wall construction allows for a full inch of high-density mineral wo0l insulation. Inside, the cabinet features corrosion-resistant aluminized steel. Quincy Lab uses UL and CSA-recognized components in all their ovens. An illuminated ON/OFF rocker switch, as well as a heat cycle pilot light, are both featured prominently on the front of the control panel. The temperature can be controlled by way of an automatic hydraulic thermostat, with temperature dial markings in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. The heating unit consists of energy-efficient, low-watt density incoloy sheathed elements that have been engineered with a compact design for quick run-up and recovery times. Temperature uniformity has been greatly improved over previous models, by using a perforated heat shield with can absorb radiant heat and distribute it more evenly. The &; series is a forced air circulation model oven, which allows for a more uniform distribution of heat throughout the chamber, facilitating evaporation. Like the GC, it was designed to meet the laboratory needs of industry, research organizations, and schools. Well-crafted and versatile, they can be used for a number of applications including, but not limited to, part drying, baking, curing, sterilization, evaporating, heat treating, annealing, and testing.
