The oven has double-wall construction that is insulated with high-density mineral wool to maintain constant temperature and keep exterior cool to the touch. The bi-metal thermostat is dial-controlled, and the on/off rocker switch is illuminated to indicate power status. Low-watt density elements are compact to provide quick run-up and recovery times, and are Incoloy-sheathed for high-temperature heating and resistance to corrosive solutions. A perforated heat shield absorbs radiant heat to provide temperature uniformity and even heat distribution.
