2. Working conditions
(1) Indore temperature: 10℃—35℃ without vibration and corrosive media in ambient.
(2) It should be installed and adjusted to be level on stable foundation.
(3) There should be no strong magnetic field disturbance and air convection when it runs.
(4) Power voltage: AC110V, frequency 50Hz .The wave range of the power voltage shall not exceed ±10% of the rated voltage.
Ⅲ.Theory and Structure
1.Theory
Melt Flow Rate Instrument is a kind of plastic extruder .It can make the sample melt through high temperature oven in stated temperature conditions. The melt sample can be extruded from a die under stated load from the weights .Melt Flow Rate is the mass that the melt sample of the thermoplastics passes through standard die every 10min under definite temperature and pressure .
The Melt Mass Flow Rate (MFR) is expressed by g/10min .The equation is as following :
MFR(θ,Mnom)=tref ×M/t
Where :
θ—test temperature ,℃
Mnom—test load ,kg
tref—reference time(10min),S(600s)
M—the average mass of the cut sample strips,g
t—sampling time interval ,s
For example :a tested material ,the sample sections are cut every 30S,the mass is 0.0816g,0.0862g,0.0815g,0.0895g and 0.0825g respectively .The average mass of the sample is :
M=(0.0816+0.0862+0.0815+0.0895+0.0825)/5=0.0843(g),
So MFR=600×0.0843/30=1.686(g/10min)
