The Labnet Spectrafuge C1301 centrifuge runs at 6,000 rpm and holds standard microtubes and 0.2mL tube strips. Opening the lid causes the rotor to brake to a stop for increased safety. The unit will spin down droplets or condensation on microtubes and tube strips before and after thermal cycling to increase polymerase chain reaction (PCR) yield.
