The Koehler K21420 Saybolt viscosity bath holds four Saybolt viscometer tubes with orifices (sold separately) and automatically measures the time required for 60mL of sample to flow through a calibrated orifice, accurate to 0.05 percent. Its digital display shows efflux time in Saybolt Universal Seconds (SUS) and Saybolt Furol Seconds (SFS) and temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The steel cabinet has leveling feet and a chemical-resistant polyurethane-epoxy finish. It accepts 220V, 50/60 Hz input power and draws 6.4A.

The heated water bath has a maximum temperature of 240 degrees C (464 degrees F) and is accurate to 0.03 degrees C (0.05 degrees F) for temperature-controlled testing. This Saybolt viscosity bath meets ASTM International D88 standard for measuring Saybolt viscosity and ASTM D244 standard for testing emulsified asphalts.
