Details:

The Heidolph Multi Reax vibrating test tube shaker has an adjustable electronic speed rotation control of 150 to 2,000 revolutions per minute (rpm), and comes with a carousel attachment for up to 26 tubes (10 to 16 mm diameter); and an additional carousel attachment for up to 12 tubes (16 to 32 mm diameter). A test tube shaker mixes liquid and solid samples in a tube, vial, culture plate, or similar vessel, with a vibrating, rocking, or other motion type. It is used in scientific research, chemistry, microbiology, pharmacology, and educational applications.

This test tube shaker comes with a carousel attachment that holds up to 26 tubes (or similar round vessels) from 10 to 16 mm in diameter (maximum 160 mm [H]). An additional attachment (included) holds up to 12 tubes with 16 to 32 mm diameter (max. 120 mm [H]). A 3-mm vibration orbit provides ridged to smooth dispersion of viscous media and solids in large-diameter vessels. The Multi Reax has a choice of continuous shaking at 150 to 2,000 rpm, or timer-controlled shaking for automatic shut-off, when the alarm indicates a completed cycle. A knob adjusts shaking frequency. Time arrow buttons allow time setting. A digital process timer can be set for 1 to 999 minutes to allow for unattended operation. Elapsed time is displayed in a 3-digit LED display, and an alarm indicates time cycle completion.

A four-digit LED digital display shows lapsed time, rotational speed (shaking frequency), and start/stop indicators. The unit has a two-pole master toggle switch, and a start/stop button to control the shaking action. Tubes fit into retaining pockets and are held in place against the cushioned backing with an included rubber ring. A non-skid area surrounds the carousel perimeter to allow for vessel placement without hands slipping. A plug connector on the rear panel connects to power supply. The over-temperature safety circuit meets Deutsches Institut für Normung (DIN)/European Standards
