Details: Grant Instruments C2GL refrigerated immersion cooling coil can be used with Grant Instruments Optima heated circulating baths with 26 or 38 liter stainless steel tanks; T100-ST26 US; T100-ST38 US; TC120-ST26 US; TC120-ST38 US; TX150-ST26 US; TX150-ST38 US; TXF200-ST26 US; TXF200-ST38 US (all sold separately) and Optima thermostatic controllers (T100 US, ASIN:B00IS4CBAW; TC120 US, ASIN:B00IS4CKO4; TX150 US, ASIN:B00IS4CS4Q; TXF200 US, ASIN:B00IS4D4NK) when used with a suitable laboratory bath or vessel. It acts as a source of constant cooling to lower the temperature in the bath and the thermostatic controller can be used to set and control the temperature at which the bath is maintained. The C2GL can be used to generate temperatures down to 0 degrees Celsius in combination in T100-ST baths and to achieve temperatures down to -15 degrees Celsius when used with TC120 US, TX150 US and TXF200 US operated baths with 26 liter capacity or larger. The C2GL comprises two key elements, a refrigeration unit (dimensions, H x W x D: 22.5 x 30.5 x 46cm) and a cooling coil connected by a flexible insulated hose (length: 92cm). The refrigeration unit is typically located on the bench next to the Optima bath, with the coil fully immersed in the liquid and securely held in place within the tank. It is recommended that the C2GL is used in conjunction with a bath lid or polypropylene spheres to improve efficiency. C2GL comes with a 3 year warranty.
