Details: The Gilson Safe Aspiration Station Aspiration System is a stand-alone vacuum system for quickly and safely aspirating biological liquids into a 4-liter polypropylene collection bottle. The unit is completely closed, eliminating contamination hazards during collection. An in-line hydrophobic filter traps aerosols. The bottle lid has quick-coupling connectors and an overflow detector. The unit has a compact design, making it ideal for use in a laminar flow hood. Operation is quiet and the motor starts only when the vacuum pressure drops. The handle accommodates a variety of pipette sizes for aspiration from different types of vessels. Just press the handle button to aspirate aspiration speed is adjustable. The station includes tubing and one aspiration needle.
