Details: The Eppendorf Mastercycler pro Thermal Cyclers are unparalleled in its reproducibility, specificity, and speedrequirements for any PCR application! While common PCR instruments press a metal plate onto the PCR consumable, these Mastercycler pro Thermal Cyclers have a vapo.protect lid that covers the PCR plate, tube, or strip with a cushion that conforms to its shapeno matter what plate, tube, or strip you use. A snug fit cushion, in combination with high pressure and excellent heating capabilities of the lid, reduce evaporation to a minimum. Only 03% of the reaction volume evaporates using the new vapo.protect technology. Other thermal cyclers can show evaporation on average of 10% and up to 50% at the corner positions of the block.
