The Eppendorf M1344 Innova I24 benchtop incubator orbital shaker uses 120V at speeds between 25 to 500rpm, and has continuous or timed shaking, an orbital motion range of either 3/4 or 1", and a large LED with keypad. This shaker fits an 18 x 18 inches (W x D) accessory platform (sold separately) to accommodate up to four, 2.8L Fernbach flasks. The unit has continuous or timed shaking up to 99.9 hours for ease of operation. The orbital motion provides uniform mixing with a smooth continuous circular action. The large LED, with a spill-resistant keypad, displays speed and temperature for clear readings. Laboratory shakers are used in many analytic procedures, including drug analysis, water pollution analysis, and hemolysis.
The unit has audible and visual alarms for setpoint deviations or end of study. Speed and temperature calibration can be accomplished directly through the keypad. It has an RS-232 interface for logging data directly to a computer. The chamber is covered with a clear lid for unobstructed sample viewing without disturbing chamber temperature. A powerful fan and heater provide rapid heat up and temperature recovery after door opening. The heavy-duty, cast-iron triple-eccentric drive is counterbalanced and broad-based to ensure uniform motion to every flask, regardless of position on the platform. The unit measures 24 x 30 x 22 (H x W x D) and weighs 135lb. (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
