The Eppendorf Thermal Sample Protection (TSP) prevents premature heating of your samples during the heating phase of the heated lid, keeping nonspecific PCR products from amplification during this phase and preserving your samples. The Mastercycler nexus eco is a satellite unit and requires a Mastercycler nexus or Mastercycler nexus gradient for operation.
