Its LCD screen shows the volume, pipetting mode and speed, and battery life, and backlighting helps eliminate light reflections and improves contrast in low-light conditions. This pipette includes ten pipetting modes, pipetting history, password protection, a service indicator, and the ability to program multiple modes in a sequence for custom applications. It has spring-loaded tip cones for ease of connecting and ejecting pipette tips. The low-force tip ejector helps minimize hand strain. Once the pipette tips are ejected, the piston automatically returns to a zero position to prepare for the next pipetting operation. The lower housing is autoclavable to ensure sterility and avoid cross-contamination.
