Details: This octagonal PTFE stir bar features an Alnico V magnetic core which is one of the most powerful permanent magnet alloys available. Made of PTFE, the PTFE thickness accounts for 18% of the stir bar diameter. Stir bar should not be stored in a random mass or dropped on a hard surface, especially steel. Stir bar should be stored in pairs to maintain magnetic strength. Color may leach in harsh chemicals.
