Details: In asphalt laboratories, the DVR-1000 may be used in conjunction with Cannon-Manning, Asphalt Institute and Modified Koppers vacuum viscometers (see 9724H50, R50 and W50) for measurement of highly viscous materials such as asphalt cement at 60??C (140??F) according to ASTM D 2171. The DVR-1000 is also useful in other laboratory systems where accurate measurement and control of vacuum is required. The DVR-1000 is intended for regulation of a user?Ç?Ös in-house vacuum system, is equipped with an internal vacuum pump and does not require an external vacuum source. Horizontal and vertical styles of both units are available. The horizontal units will support the weight of a constant temperature bath such as the CT-1000 bath (9726A20).
