The Awareness Technology Stat Fax 3200 Microplate Reader is a space-saving, fully automatic reading unit equipped with its biochromatic optics. The reader is perfect for in-vitro diagnostic use as it calculates the results of endpoint colorimetric assays.
The flexible Stat Fax 3200 can measure monochromatically or bichromatically, and accepts many single column microstrips up to 12 wells in length. The system can also work with break-apart wells in both flat- and round bottoms. After positioning the carrier to the desired row, the Stat Fax reader automatically positions the strips, reads absorbances, calculates concentrations, and prints results. The incorporated thermal graphics printer also allows the system to plot standard curves.
The Stat Fax 3200 reader integrates automatic blanking options with the location indication of positive and negative controls. The user can also enter control acceptance criteria for automatic comparisons, and edit out discrepant duplicates with automatic reread and recalculation.
Allowing ease of operation, the Stat Fax 3200 offers pre-programmed modes for performing the most commonly used calculations, multiple convenience features, and user programmable memory to further facilitate testing. Each mode has a step-by-step prompting, reducing error and streamlining operation for the user. The user-configurable memory lets users store test protocols, retrieve tests by number, and delete unwanted tests from a user-generated test menu.
