Details: Product Description It is used to stir a liquid or solution in biological, chemical, medical and research laboratory applications. Gear type / octagonal shape creates a vortex to the bottom of the container and provides more stability and less vibration than single-stir bar shapes. Recessed bezel helps to reduce vibration while you are stirring. Particularly useful for environmental testing and life science applications where small sample volumes need to be prepared and evaluated. Provides a larger surface area and added turbulence when the smooth surface of the cylindrical rods compared.
