DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION:
The Air Conditioner, 1.5-Ton, 18,000 BTU/hr, is an electric motor driven ECU. These units are capable of providing cooled, dehumidified, heated, and filtered air for supply to a shelter or van. The 1.5-Ton ECU is com- prised of an electrical subsystem, a refrigeration subsystem and the structure, i.e., the cabinet and frame. The electrical subsystem is designed to accept 208VAC/3-Phase, 50/60 Hz input power. The 1.5-Ton ECU weighs approximately 228 pounds and is capable of providing 18,000 BTU of cooling and 13,400 BTU of heating. Low setting provides a minimum of 9,000 BTU of cooling and 7,000 BTU of heat.
