Details: Benchtop muffle furnaces offer 350 cubic inches of heating area and include a ceramic shelf to double furnace load capacity. Highly thermal-efficient ceramic insulation surrounding the chamber achieves maximum energy efficiency. Open coil heating elements on both sides of chamber enable rapid heating with minimal temperature gradient over range of 100-1200 degree C. A built-in venting system removes contaminants and moisture. Door safety switch provides operator protection by cutting power to heating elements when door is opened. Thermocouple break protection cuts power to heating elements to prevent thermal runaway condition. Units are available with a choice of controls. Weight 56 lb, power 120V, 50/60 Hz, 1800 W, 14.5 A.
