The Radwag APP 35.R2 Precision Balance Scale has a capacity of 35kg, a readability of 0.1g, a 348 x 260mm (W x D) stainless steel weighing pan, an external control panel with programmable function keys and an LCD, internal memory for storing profiles and measurements, automatic internal calibration, and 11 built-in applications for advanced lab weighing and legal metrology tasks. (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The control panel connects to the balance via a 15" long cable and has an LCD with a text information line that shows messages and data, and a backlight for visibility. This balance has two RS-232 ports, a USB-A port, and a USB-B port for connecting to a computer, printer, or other peripheral device (sold separately) to output data or monitor balance functions. It has internal memory for storing up to 10 user profiles, 1,000 product profiles, 5,000 weight measurements, and 100 tares, plus alibi memory storage of up to 100,000 consecutive measurements. The balance is verified for legal metrology, and features automatic internal temperature- and time-controlled calibration to help ensure accuracy. A weighing port allows underfloor weighing of oversize containers. Leveling is performed by manually adjusting the feet until the air bubble is properly centered in the level indicator. The balance comes with a 120V power adapter. A precision toploading balance is used in laboratories and other indoor settings for determining the mass of a liquid, paste, powder, or solid sample.
