Password-protected settings for up to eight users (up to 3 IDs per sample) are standard, with full traceability of all measurements and results. A unique "MinWeigh" feature sends a warning to the display when the defined minimum weight is not reached, preventing process deviations. Six interface options including Bluetooth (wireless), Ethernet, PS/2, and USB for efficient data capture. Fully-automatic internal calibration (FACT) uses sensors for monitoring environmental changes and internal weight for automatic calibration. SmartSens programmable infrared sensors allow hands free operation and the SmartScreen color touchscreen with graphical user guidance makes entering parameters easy. The ingenious MagiCube draft shield (1-mg models) permits direct access to weighing pan from any side. The large, square weighing pan provides up to 30% more surface area than other balances in this class for exceptionally-easy loading.
