Labconco 7982010 Centrivap Benchtop Aqueous System, 115V, 60 Hz

The Labconco 7982010 CentriVap benchtop concentrator system concentrates multiple small aqueous samples using centrifugal force, a vacuum, and heat. This concentrator can store nine user-set programs that include temperature, heat time, and run time, and the temperature and times can be altered while a program is running. The system has a brushless motor with a maximum speed of 1,725rpm, and the heater can be set to a maximum temperature of 100 degrees C, in 1-degree increments. The lid constructed of acrylic plastic for transparency, with a phenol-free gasket for no phenol contamination, and a lid latch for safety. The system meets the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC)/Underwriters Laboratory (UL) 61010A-1 standard.

The system stops within seconds when runtime has expired or the stop button is pressed. The vacuum is applied only after the rotor achieves the target speed and releases before the rotor stops, to minimize sample loss. Microprocessor-controlled 300W heater can be set to shut down before the set run time to protect heat-sensitive samples. The timer runs from 1 to 999 minutes. The Functions include quick start, preheat, memory to store up to nine programs, and an alarm signaling completion of a run. The model comes with a 12-13mm rotor assembly that holds up to 40 2.0mL microcentrifuge tubes and 64 13 x 100mm tubes. The system comes with a concentrator, cold trap, clear canister, moisture insert, rotor, vacuum tubing, and clamps. The system requires a vacuum pump (sold separately).
