Details:
The Kinematica Polytron PT-MR 6100 D is a homogenizer with an H-stand and is suitable for use in homogenizing material such as plant and animal tissue. This digital unit has electronic speed control that manages speeds up to 26,500rpm and adjusts to changes in viscosity. It can handle volumes from 0.1mL to 30L (water) for varied sample processing, and has three operating modes: standard, timed and auto. In standard mode, the unit is operated manually using the keypad. In timer mode the unit is programmed to run in a time-speed sequence where the drive runs at a constant speed for a set period of time. In automatic mode, the unit is controlled remotely using the KIN software from a PC.
The LED screen displays speed, process parameters and messages, and has a membrane keypad for adjusting speed and changing the operating mode. The 1,700W motor has insulated housing to reduce noise level to a maximum of 82dbA at 26,500rpm. It has overheating, overloading, and blocking protection with an automatic shutdown feature, and a soft start to reduce splashing. This unit includes RS232 interface capability for connecting to a PC where it can be controlled using the included KIN software. The drive unit can be fixed on the ST-F11/855 H-stand to prevent uncontrolled movement. This homogenizer is Ingress Protection certified IP20, CE marked for European Conformity, meets IEC/EN 61000-6-2 and IEC/EN 61000-6-3 for Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), IEC/EN 61010-2-51 standards for safety and is suitable for a variety of dispersing, homogenizing and suspension applications.
