The 2494700 S 25 NK - 19 G Dispersing Element is intended for use with the IKA Ultra-Turrax T-25 digital dispersing instrument (sold separately) and is suitable for homogenizing a variety of samples. This dispersing element is made of stainless steel 316L and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for resistance to corrosion as both materials come into contact with samples. It has a rotor and stator configuration in which the high rotation speed of the rotor forces the flow of liquid up into the dispersion head and then back out through slots in the dispersion element for efficient homogenization. It can handle volumes from 0.02 to 1.5L (water). It has a 19mm stator diameter, a 12.7mm rotor diameter and a 194mm shaft length with an immersion depth range of 40mm to 165mm.
