Details: QStar transit-time flowmeters feature a quick setup for easy use and a large, 320 x 240 pixel LCD. All units have integrated heat quantity measurement capabilities that enables rapid and convenient recording of heat flows. Software is preprogrammed for temperature measurement. Models 32600-00, -01, and -02 also feature temperature measurement for energy readings. ?Ç?óAnti-Noise Deflection Technology ?Ç?ö Qstar?Ç?Ös transducers are designed to minimize the noise of ringing from the transducer and pipe, which causes disruptive signals that could interfere with the desired signal and a loss in energy for the ?Ç?£ringing?Ç?¥ instead of the main signal. ?Ç?óAutomatic Fluid Control Technology ?Ç?ö If the sonic velocity of the fluid changes, such as changes in temperature or in the composition of the fluid, the position of the transducer is no longer correct and the reading of the flow will change and have an additional error. QStar meters measure the sonic velocity and by refraction of the signal path continuously calculates the ?Ç?£miss-positioning?Ç?¥ of the transducers and compensates for the effect of the miss-position. ?Ç?óCross Correlation Signal Detection ?Ç?ö Signal noise can come from various sources, such as frequency converters for pumps, pipe noise, or signal scattering from particles or gas bubbles. QStar meters implement advanced signal coding and detection algorithms to digitally filter unwanted ?Ç?£noise?Ç?¥ and only the correct coded signal will be identified as a valid signal from the flowmeter.
