Details: The BD Clay Adams Centrifuge Sero-Fuge 2002 features a contemporary design and easy-to-use controls. The control panel includes an advanced keypad that allows precise setting of speed and run time. A dual speed motor can be operated at 2400 rpm or 3400 rpm. The four-digit-display lets labs select run time and counts down during the run to show exactly how much time remains. The centrifuge comes complete with a break-resistant, 45° angle, 12-place plastic rotor that will accommodate blood tubes up to 12.7 x 75mm. An optional six-place aluminum rotor is available for use with 13 x 100mm tubes. Both rotors have numbered slots to simplify sample identification and gives labs the ability to fill, centrifuge, transport, incubate and empty tubes without handling them. The Serofuge 2002's safety features include interlocking lid to prevent operation while open. A gasket seal around lid provides an extra measure of protection against aerosols. Cushioned rubber feet minimize sound and vibration.
